Hi all, Over at Seti there's a person who claims that his BOINC will disable his Windows 7 network. See https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=74077
In the thread he says that whenever he runs BOINC, his network will crash, show the yellow mark on the network icon. he has reformatted and reinstalled Windows, added everything to his firewall exceptions. I have asked him to test if it would do the same with something like Folding@Home or Prime95. It does not. I have asked him if it may be a problem with his videocard, so he ran Furmark a couple of times. Gives no problems. But running quickly out of ideas. Other than hoping that Windows Event Viewer has recorded something about it, does anyone here have an idea? Ever heard of just BOINC disabling the Windows network? He is running BOINC 7.2.33, although I don't think that matters much. -- Jord van der Elst. _______________________________________________ boinc_dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ssl.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/boinc_dev To unsubscribe, visit the above URL and (near bottom of page) enter your email address.
