New users that are having a difficult time getting started will not have any tasks assigned, and will have posts in the help area. This will last for anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks depending on the nature of the problem and the time available for trouble shooting. I hope that these users will not be swept up in a cull of spammer users as it might turn them off from BOINC.
I am trying to remember the moderator UI, so this may not be a good idea, but anyway: How about a recommend delete button available to the moderators that would send a message to the project administrator(s) that do have the ability to actually delete posts.
