Thanks Oliver, that was exactly the situation - but I think it must have been the first post I had made on Einstein since the trimming process was introduced (I hadn't seen it before). I just wanted to be certain that the trim was correct, and I just happened (by coincidence) to go over the limit by exactly one line. The alternative (since I had my bug-hunting hat on this morning) might have been a bug in the algorithm which removed the last line of every post, no matter how long..... Anyway, the full version appeared on your website, so somebody can have a look in due course. Richard

Your screenshot seems incomplete as you should have seen a green notification bubble above the preview which read: "The trimmed version of your post shows what your post looks like when promoted to the main page or when exported for syndication." That said, it's simply visually truncated in certain aspects where space is limited. Does that answer your question?
