Has anyone noticed an increase in errors on some Windows clients? Our success rates have recently decreased by around 10-20% and I’m seeing a lot of “failed to created shared mem segment” errors (see below) on Rosetta@home clients running jobs that used to run well and the application has not changed.
The only thing I can think of is a security patch since the jobs were running well with the same BOINC client version. Or might this be related to having two different apps for the project and using the same “prog_name” for the get_shmem_name function? I thought the slots would take care of this. I’m wondering if this is a Rosetta specific issue or more general. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
