Ok.  WCG currently has 2,042 Windows XP hosts with expavg_credit > 0.5.
That is 0.7% of our active hosts and 0.5% of our computing power.

I haven't been tracking that as a trend over time, but if 7.8 were to be
the last client supporting Windows XP we would be ok with that.  Most
Windows XP users and projects would be able to continue to accept
contributions from them using the last version of the client that support
Windows XP for several years.  We still have a surprising number of users
using the BOINC 6.10 client.

However, I don't know if 2013 (or newer) offers any advantages over 2010 so
I'm not making a recommendation or proposal - just citing some information.
