Pemain asing dari Amerika latin cenderung tidak cocok dengan gaya permainan liga inggris. Lihat aja, banyak pemain-pemain top dari amerika latin yang gak berhasil. Contohnya Veron(xMU,xChelsea), Forlan(xMU),Crespo(Chelsea),Gilberto(Arsenal),Edu(xArsenal) dan masih banyak yang lain. Kalau di lihat-lihat, permainan mereka gak kalah dengan pemain Negara-negara lain, tapi kenapa mereka tidak bisa sukses? Lihat aja Forlan, ketika di MU, forlan jarang dapat tempat tim inti, dan ketika dilego ke Villareal, forlan langsung jadi top skorer liga spayol.

Jadi, gak semua pemain asing, khususnya non UE bisa main di EPL. Makanya pemain Amerika Latin cenderung untuk milih tampil di La Liga atau Seri A. Batasan pemain asing juga ada dong.
