Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool fully deserved their Community
Shield victory over Premiership champions Chelsea.
Goals from John Arne Riise and Peter Crouch secured a 2-1 win for the
Reds in Cardiff and Carragher insists the best team won.
"There was a lot said before the game about how we were supposedly
further down the road in our preparations than them, but I don't buy
into that," he says. "We just played the better football and got our
rewards."
