Yet another goal, and what a goal it was. It was the captain's
inch-perfect free-kick that gave the Bianconeri the lead at the San
Paolo, and after another fine performance which saw him voted man
Juventus' MVP on the night, Alex Del Piero had this to say: "Even if we
only have one point to show for it, we played a good game against a team
built for promotion to Serie A". The captain was asked about the
numerous youngsters Juventus had on show tonight: "We're very lucky to
have so many good young players, a sign of the good work carried out by
the youth set up over the last few years. Those who played performed
very well, and that's not to mention the others on the bench!". And
finally a word on the promotion contenders: "Napoli, Genoa and Bologna,
for their past as well as the quality of their players; they can
definitely rest their hopes on promotion. Rimini, at times Piacenza, and
Cesena are also doing well. It's a championship full of good players,
which is why it's so tight at the top of the table".
