DANIELE BONERA
Lazio has a frightening attack. We did well, even at staying close to the
midfield. Parma are next up and that invokes good memories for me. They are
doing better, in fact they won today. Now, I am only thinking about Milan. I
like playing central defence better. The coach knew that all along, but I
was needed on the right. With Milan, there is the need to push more on the
flanks that I had been used to doing with Parma and that is not what I am
best at doing. If we had won tonight, it would have been a good step in the
right directionÂ… too bad.
ALBERTO GILARDINO
I am doing a bit better. I took a hard knock and got bruised. We'll see what
happens and we hope things improve from here. It was bad challenge, but I
don't think it is anything serious. That's important. The brilliance just
wasn't there, even in attack we weren't able to finish the opportunities
that we had.
RICKY KAKA'
I was out for a month. I have to recover my fitness. It's already great just
to be back and not feeling any pain. I had problems doing the things that I
like doing the best, like sprinting. I will recover. The problem is that I
was out for a month and I am lacking a bit of the rhythm of the game. Now, I
must get that back and get back in shape. The problem was always in the last
leg, when I was approaching the goal and I was sprinting at the end, the
power in my legs just wasn't all there. I hope that Gilardino is fine and
that he doesn't have any serious problems.
DIDA: 'Was a difficult game but a point is fine'
After his good performance against Lazio, Dida was optimistic about the
future: 'It was a difficult game, a point away from home is always good. I
worked well with everyone, in particular the Milan staff. We have selected
the best way to operate and now I am back on the pitch. I am still adjusting
but everything is slowly returning to normal.'
