UEFA Spokesman William Gaillard has said that San Siro stadium is likely to
host Inter Milan's and AC Milan's Champions League home matches. The
statement soothes fears that an interim venue in France, Switzerland or even
a Balkan nation may be needed.

According to William Gaillard, the Inter Milan-Valencia and AC Milan
Celtic, Champions League matches that are scheduled on the 21st of February
and the 7th of March respectively, will be played at the Giuseppe Meazza
stadium.
"Yesterday was a good test for San Siro [new electronic turnstiles having
been hurriedly installed] and if everything goes as planned I can say in
advance that a regular attendance will be allowed for AC Milan Celtic",
said Gaillard.
"Everything is progressing very well", he added, praising the introduction
of more controllable gates. "New turnstiles have been installed therefore at
the moment I exclude that the game is going to be played elsewhere".
Inter Milan president Moratti commented:" I think, like yesterday during AC
Milan Livorno, that part of the crowd should be allowed to get in".
"We must see how and under which rules such part of the crowd can be granted
regular entrance but in any case, we will play in the Meazza stadium",
stressed the exec.
Moratti also added: "We have already witnessed Champions League matches with
no crowd and without a doubt it was a hard experience that nobody would like
to repeat."
