GALLIANI: 'My wish is for an all Italian semi-final' 3/9/2007 Adriano Galliani has been speaking about the Champions League draw and said: 'My wish is for an all Italian semi-final. It's up to Milan and Roma to get there. Bayern Munich are a really great team, very solid as they demonstrated when they eliminated Real. They have a history and are friends, with a great president. The draw could have gone worse and it could have gone better but that's the way it is in the last eight.'
Galliani then commented on changes to the draw for the final phase next year: 'We are thinking that next year there will be some modifications, with the idea to insert a ranking for the quaters amongst those who qualified.' GALLIANI: 'Very difficult match' 3/9/2007 Adriano Galliani had this to say ahead of the derby: 'We can't personalise Milan with Ronaldo, I have never seen a player win a game by himself. Inter are dominating the league and it will be a very difficult match.' BAYERN REACTION TO DRAW 3/9/2007 Bayern General Manager, Uli Hoeness said: 'We have a 50% chance of going through.' Sagnol was more optimistic: 'Chelsea would have been worse. Milan have had different problems this year and they don't have Shevchenko. We have been improving over the last few weeks, the Rossoneri not so.' There was the same line from Van Buyten: 'We will play against a strong side but they aren't unbeatable.' Schweinsteiger was also pleased: 'I wanted Milan or Chelsea in the quarter-finals.' GANDINI: 'We will play a great team' 3/9/2007 Umberto Gandini: 'We will play a great team, been there a lot and have a tradition. They have just eliminated Real Madrid and have grown a lot under Hitzfeld. There will be lot said and written about these two games. It's an encounter Milan are used to playing in. Just before the tie they play Schalke and we play Roma. I pleased to have avoided the Giallorossi.' ANCELOTTI: 'Bayern have a great tradition' 3/9/2007 Carlo Ancelotti has this to say after Milan were drawn with Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals. The coach said: 'Bayern have a great history, they are a physically strong side. They had a bad period in the winter It is a very balanced draw but they knocked out Real Madrid. They haven't changed much since last season but with the new coach maybe they have improved their tactics and style of play as seen when they knocked Real out. It would be great for us and Roma to meet in the semi-finals but first we have to get over the obstacle of the quarter-finals.' GATTUSO: 'Rather not play Roma' 3/9/2007 Rino Gattuso has been speaking to uefa.com ahead of the Champions League draw and said: 'I would rather not play an Italian team because I want them to go as far as possible. I wouldn't mind playing Roma in the final - that would be fantastic - but at this stage it's always nice to play European ties against foreign sides.' BRAZIL: DUNGA CALLS UP KAKA' 3/9/2007 Brazil coach, Carlos Dunga has called up Ricky Kakà for the friendly internationals in Gothenburg against Chile on March 24 and in Solna on the 27th against Chile. -- Cavaliere AC Milan atau tidak sama sekal!
