Two people were arrested after invading the pitch following Chelsea's FA Cup replay win at Tottenham. One has been arrested for encroaching and the other for encroaching and suspicion of assault. One of the supporters ran on the pitch and confronted Frank Lampard, with Jose Mourinho claiming: "A fan came on to make an aggression to Frank." It has been reported that the man tried to punch Lampard before he was eventually restrained by stewards. The incident happened as the Chelsea players and coaching staff celebrated their victory on the pitch at White Hart Lane. Mourinho added: "Frank said the man went crazy, coming from nowhere. "Three, four or five people had to catch him before the security men came." Tottenham boss Martin Jol said: "I have not seen it. I can understand their frustration but they shouldn't do that."
