Liverpool's Under-18s team have been crowned FA Youth
Cup winners for the second consecutive season after a
dramatic second-leg at Old Trafford ended in a penalty
shoot-out triumph against Manchester United.
A one-nil win in normal time was enough to take the
game into extra-time and with neither side able to
break the deadlock, the match had to end on penalties.
Fortunately for the Reds, this young Liverpool side
don't miss from the spot and while United missed two
penalties, Steve Heighway's players scored all four
and the Youth Cup was ours.
