The Viola are looking to strengthen their side in the next few weeks as the
Tuscan side have around 29 million Euros to spend in the transfer market.

With the sale of Valeri Bojinov to Manchester City for a fee of 9 million
Euros plus the 20 million Euros given by the Della Valle for the transfer
market campaign, the Director of Sports, Pantaleo Corvino, has around 29
million Euros to invest.

According to 'La Nazione' the latest transfer market target of the Viola is
Maximiliano Ruben Maxi Rodriguez of Atletico Madrid, even though the main
target remains that of Ricardo Quaresma.

The 26-year-old Argentinean midfielder had impressed during the past World
Cup, even scoring the best goal of the tournament and drawing the interest
of various important clubs.

If neither player arrives at the court of Cesare Prandelli, then Fiorentina
will focus their attention on Liverpool's Mark Gonzalez, 23-year-old Chilean
winger.
