Sedikit tentang Baggio
Roberto Baggio (born 18 February 1967 in Caldogno, Veneto) is an Italian
retired footballer, among the most technically gifted and popular players in
the world throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. He played for the Italy
national team in three World Cups, and is the only Italian player ever to
score in three World Cups. He was the best Italian player of the 1994 FIFA
World Cup, carrying his team to the final, and was one of the three players
who lost the trophy to Brazil on penalties. He won both the European
Footballer of the Year (Ballon d'Or) and the FIFA World Player of the Year
award in 1993.

Baggio Refuses To Rule Out China Job
Roberto Baggio has created a flurry of speculation in China by responding
with "Never say never", when questioned about whether he would ever consider
coaching the Chinese national team.

The legendary Italian has always been one to choose his words very
carefully, so much is being read into the fact that he has refused to rule
out the possibility. Baggio was in Beijing in an official capacity as part
of his role as representative for Italy in the Olimpic Games, so it is more
likely that he was just being especially diplomatic so as not to offend his
hosts.

Still a hugely popular figure the world over, the 40-year-old is constantly
inundated by requests to return to the game in any capacity but has instead
preferred to enjoy a quiet and dignified retirement spent with his family.

China fired coach Zhu Guanghu in August after he led the team to a shock
first round exit at July's Asian Cup. The Chinese Football Association are
starting prepartions for 2010 World Cup qualificiation.

China face Myanmar in the first qualifying game in October.
