Buffon's most terrific save was seen on the last Serie A season. He blocked 99% scoring chance strike with one hand only. I forgot which match it was but I surely will remember him as the strongest goalkeeper in our time. In other hands, Casillas' heroic actions were seen when Madrid fought against Bilbao last season. Had he been under-performed, Madrid would have been utterly defeated. With him under the net, Bilbao got defeated miserably 1-3, IIRC. Both are loyal, especially Buffon whose career got ruined by Moggiopoli scandal, and cool headed.
