The Azzurrini led by Coach Francesco Rocca finished top of Group B with five points, just one more than England and the Czech Republic. It took an extraordinary encounter to secure their spot in the semi-final, as Italy twice threw away their lead. Andrea Poli opened the scoring on Alberto Paloschi's cutback following good work from Roma youth product Stefano Okaka Chuka. Less than 60 seconds later, the Czechs were back level through tournament top scorer Tomas Necid's angled drive. Goalkeeper Vincenzo Fiorillo denied Lukas Marecek and Jan Moravek, but it was substitute Giacomo Bonaventura who grabbed headlines by smashing in a fierce strike from 25 metres. Defence has been a problem for this Italy side and once again they lost their advantage after the unmarked Petr Reinberk set up Moravek's equaliser. Milan starlet Paloschi earned and converted a penalty, then Poli's second of the game on Okaka Chuka's assist put the result beyond doubt regardless of a late Moravek effort and Mazzarani's 75th-minute dismissal. This result means England's 3-0 win over Greece does not stop Italy from winning Group B. It was their first win of the tournament after a 1-1 draw with Greece and 0-0 stalemate against England. The Azzurrini set up their semi-final date with either Germany or Hungary, to be played on July 23. Italy Under-19: Fiorillo, Darmian, Formiconi (Tagliani 89), Albertazzi, Bruscagin, Garibaldi, Mazzarani, Poli, Forestieri (Bonaventura 46), Paloschi (Marchetti 78), Okaka Chuka -- Cavaliere AC Milan atau tidak sama sekal!
