The message hardcoded in the mail function should be a message
variable:
if ($mailmode == active) {
mail("$to", "$subject", "$body", "From: $from");
return "Mail sent to $to.";
}
else return "Mail is in demo mode. Mail sent to $to from $from.
Subject: $subject. ";
