I use two different commercial service providers in my country. With one I experience what is called the wwwrun-problem. Every file which is produced by the boltwire engine on the server gets the user wwwrun. Every file that is produced or edited offline or from another bw installation gets a different user. These pages cannot be edited by boltwire without switching the user to wwwrun.
It seems that this one hoster runs Apache as module and not in cgi- mode.
