Like a bloghoster? Nice idea! I think you do not need virtual wikis for this. Instead you can set up different authors (karlh626) feeding their own blog group (karlh626.blog.) with their own blog homepage and storing their pages in their own folder on the server. All of them would use the same action.blog, forms and templates.
That way you would be able to retrieve pages from all hosted blogs for specific keywords as well as provide a set of different templates for all. Maybe on the way you could improve the blog plugin to display the comments beneath the posting they belong to.
