Actually this is done automatically, even without your if statement. If you go to
alpha.beta.gamma&action=edit BoltWire will look for and use (in this order): action.alpha.beta.gamma.edit action.alpha.beta.edit action.alpha.edit action.edit All the actions are automatically hierarchical, as well as several other features like the zones. Cheers, Dan P.S. This is especially useful for pages like action.docs.missing or action.test.blocked. etc. On Mon, Feb 2, 2009 at 8:52 AM, Linly <[email protected]> wrote: > > I found an interesting way to customize a special edit form for a > certain group. > > 1) Open "pageactions" > > Replace this: > > [[{p}&action=edit|edit]] > > with this: > > [if* equal {p1} groupname] [[{p}&action={p1}.edit|edit]][else*][[{p} > &action=edit|edit]][if*] > > 2) Copy "action.edit" to a new page "action.groupname.edit" > > Customizing anything you like. > > Then, any page under "groupname.*" will use the customized edit form. > > Cheers, > linly > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BoltWire" group.
