Good suggestion, but unlikely to go in the core. I think Kanesodi is suggesting we need a solution for the core site pages that will work on most skins.
Perhaps we just need to break it down to separate pages. One extra click if you don't know what you're looking for. Personally, I almost never use the site page, so it won't slow me down any.
