I have an action I would like to do inside several forms, and I'd like for the exact same thing to happen each time, namely to create a page economy.transaction.# and save certain specific value to it.
I thought "ok, fine, I'll use a script" but that doesn't work, because I want this action to occur inside a form when submit is pressed, and I don't want to be forwarded to a separate action page, because I want to be free to forward to other pages depending on which form created the transaction. So I thought about it a bit, and eventually thought "hey, I know, I'll embed a page with the form commands, and presto!" but, of course, form commands are not performed in included pages. However, there is the code.embed pages, which should be perfect for the task. Unfortunately, these pages do not seem to parse bolt commands at all. Question 1: Why do site.embed pages not run through bolt commands as well as other markup? Should they, and something is wrong with my code, or is there a reason that they dont? Question 2: How would you guys create a custom form script? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BoltWire" group.
