I have a motto: Solutions, not outcomes.

I just wish folks at my place of work would use it. They seem to have been
using the reverse for the last 20 years (I kid you not, 20 years of bad
decisions!)

I also heard another phrase - I don't remember where - that really makes you
think about what you're doing. It fits with the above motto too.

"What you are doing is right but is it the right thing to do?"
