Some of the other stuff you included is of interest. I think I could use
the header/footers by turning them off when at the main page. will play
with that after I get the rest up and running...

Have to keep this as dumb proof as possible, I also have to train how
support can modify and edit incorrectly created pages as that will happen.
The key is consistent look, as little modifying of the pages themselves as
possible.

If they make an update mistake, it is easy to just have them update again
and correct it rather than teach some of them editing of the actual pages.

It also has to have a easy to read format. I do have some managers that
will need to look at these... not that I am implying anything there..

I don't think the commentbox will give me nearly the control that I want.
Some issues may go for days on end with 10's of updates. Also, there are
many users that won't have "logins" to the system and we are using userid's
using a function to fetch details on them.

I've temporarily put an example of what they look like here (Need to update
the hotlink settings for google groups, but if they are blocked you should
be able to view by just putting in the url window of the browser). This is
all being done on an internal non-internet facing site.

This is the main whiteboard page... It shows which issues have been posted,
status, time and a title which is also the link to the detail page.

Clicking on the Create Button you get a form like:

http://www.tnet.com/POSTED/wb-example04.png

Back to the prevous page, if you click on an item link you get the
details...

http://www.tnet.com/POSTED/wb-example02.png

This shows what the issue looks like with it filled out. If there are
updates they show up in the table near the top of the entry...

Clicking on one of those you get the update page:

I have everything working now except the update form. Haven't been able to
start on that yet but I assume it will work the same way as the creation one
does, but I need to pickup the title and page number of the main page it is
updating.

Good project...

This is actually a pretty good project as it is exposing me to a lot of
different common parts of the system that I will need to use over and over
for other stuff.
