There was a change in how this works in 3.14 or 3.15 (forget which). Now, to get it out of demo mode you must put mode=active in the function or command. Ie
[(mail parmaters... mode=active)] or in a form [session mode active] This looks like it should be working as intended. Site.config Mailmode is not used at all in the current release though there was a request to restore this in some way. Plan to do this for the next release.
