I've tried that and found less active participation than mailing
lists. The inactivity of the BoltWire forum is a good example. But
then again, maybe there's some secret to running them I don't know.
Do you have mail notifications of forum posts to get faster responses?

I am very willing to do this. The page main.stories is open now for
editing. Any members who care to share are welcome to post content
there. We can simplify the submission process if needed, but most site
admins shouldn't have trouble adding stuff about their sites to the
page with regular BoltWire markup.

If we had an existing plugin, it would be just install and go. But no
one has created that plugin yet, or shared it with the community. I'm
hoping we'll have one day many developers making those kinds of
contributions. Until then, it is a bit diy in certain areas.

How did you want your users to submit articles? File attachments or
cut and paste? It's quite easy to set up a submission/approval process
in BoltWire though I don't think there's an existing plugin yet. Might
be worth pulling one together.

As for showcasing sites--we just need stuff posted. When I have a few
testimonies up, I'll give it a more prominent spot on the site.

Right now we have both the docs area and the solutions area. People
can create new pages and/or edit content any time they want to help
build the documentation. If you are suggesting a simplified submission
process we could probably set something up. But it would likely limit
options. As it is we have any topic you want, nested down to any level
you want. But hey, I'm open to specific suggestions...

Cheers
Dan
