no need to be in hurry about this, if you have more important things
to do in your roadmap for BoltWire. this could be a big change and
maybe time consuming, especially in testing it.
but, if the whole thing is stimulating for you or if it opens some
doors for future development, then go for it :-)
btw, i was in the process in starting developing a plugin for managing
multilanguage sites based on my PmWiki plugin, (but much MUCH better
using the power of BW) and if this functionality will be implemented i
will try if i can express my ideas in practice.

ah, just a note not to forget it: the same could be done for the
pageread function.
