Unlikely, but possible. What OS are you on? And does it happen every time you enter the <box> markup, or just occasionally? Do you have a web site I could look at, and give it a try?
My first suggestion would be to try downloading the latest release again just to make sure you are on the very latest version. And no patches or anything interfering.
