Yes, the search function can scan other directories, such as the files
folder and generate output on that. This means you could create image
galleries dynamically, drag and drop movie files to a folder and have
them instantly show up in your site, or as in this case, scan for
plugins. Here's the markup I use in the page:
[(search dir=plugins sort=lastmodified count=30 fmt='* <(lastmodified
{+p} %x dir=plugins)>: {+p}')]
You should be able to drop that on a page in your site and get a list
of when you last modified (updated) your plugins. I wonder if this
information shouldn't be somehow integrated into the site.plugins
page. Any thoughts?
