We have a couple plugins you could look at. http://www.boltwire.com/index.php?p=solutions.links.tags http://www.boltwire.com/index.php?p=solutions.links.infotags
The first is older and may not even work any more. Generally, it taps into the link indexing system. The second is newer and uses BoltwWire'ss info variable system, which is much simpler and faster--and has become quite powerful. Definitely the better approach. I don't use much tagging myself, though I've dabbled some with it on my blogs. If either of these don't work, or you have questions, suggestions for improvement, let me know. I'd especially like ideas for how to make user implementation easier. Not working with many other systems, I'm not familiar with more standard approaches. On the other hand, BoltWire is flexible and robust enough, you should be able to set tagging up anyway you want with out too much trouble.
