On of my goals was to create a real working weather site linked to either Weather-Display or Cumulus that would display the collected and live data so that I could display it on the page like a normal Weather website. The wiki would allow me to create new pages on the fly just like some of the other sites I've built using boltwire.
I am using the 3.3.2 version of Boltwire with data collected from Cumulus which is collecting data from a Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station. Unlike the previous plugin I created which is getting the data from the National Weather Service, this is now displaying collected data from the local weather station. Still have a ton of work to do, but I think it came out pretty good. Had some major issues that I needed to get around but so far seem to have gotten past most of them so far. Still need to integrate Lytebox into the system but I think I know how to do that. I will eventually publish the "cumulus" plugin for boltwire, but there are a number of external non-wiki elements that need to be setup and configured for the entire system to work. Documentation for it all will take some time to lessen the number of help requests on the plugin and weather related stuff. The test site is: http://test04.tnet.com I had built a static site like this before (actually almost a full year ago) so I already had the formats that I wanted to use etc... but I built the Boltwire site with the plugin in about a days time which is a lot faster than it would have taken to build the site from scratch without the wiki. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BoltWire" group.
