I just downloaded a new copy of 3.3.6 from the website and put it up on a virtual web server to do some testing. On the fresh install I noticed that I could not register as admin (error: You are not authorized to register new accounts). I tried another fresh install, checked the field folder permissions and ownerships with no solution.
On a whim, I downloaded version 3.3.5 which had no problems registering the admin user. I will try using 3.3.5 and then doing an upgrade to see if that works. Just curious if anyone else had run into that issue.
