Converted 2 sites tonight from 3.3.7 to 3.4.8. The main site was a lot of updates due to how I was using header elements.
I thought the weather site would be harder though, but I was wrong. There wasn't many issues at all. I do have a problem with the displaying top after editing it. Get just a blank page. Load the regular site and the top is fine. Thought it was related to a plugin that I use in it, but when I took that out I still had the same problem. Might be related to the issue that Dan spoke about headers and footers in some circumstances. Not sure. will look at it again in the morning. One common thing I was doing was having a space after a header element. The new code throws a <br /> in that case, so I had to remove the blank lines after them all. Not that big of a problem. Couple issues with reserved characters though... Amp symbols seem to no longer work properly. This includes using them in title data. Apostrophes do the same thing. In title data they display as the html entity. I suspect that there might be others. Examples Text...
