Yes, it's ugly, mainly the colors, but that seems to be on purpose.

One can decide in under 10 seconds if an article is of interest/help
or not. 1-2 sentences summary, lots of headings that partition the
text, and bold keywords. If you just read the keywords and some words
around it, you know already much about the content.
