Just wanted to send a quick note to everyone that is a part of our BoltWire community, to thank you for your help and participation in the development of our software. Together we have been able to build something impressive, that has made many dreams possible. I'm grateful to each of you--whether you reported bugs, suggestions code improvements, added a plugin or skin, tweaked the documentation, or just asked questions. Your contributions have all made a difference!
Development has slowed the last few months, partly due to our relocation from Alabama to Illinois, and expanded work responsibilities on my part. But it has also slowed because BoltWire just flat out works. It handles about anything most people want to throw at it, and it is still quite lean and fast. Just the same, I do hope to find some time over the holidays to fix a few last things: 1) Finish solving the last issues (hopefully) in the vspacing controls. 2) Change the names and structure of the default installation folders. 3) Do a pretty significant overhaul of the forms processing engine. None of these are particularly hard or time consuming--it's just getting around to it. And only the last point should be disruptive to existing sites. So with a little luck we may be able to see BoltWire 4.0 out the door by the end of the year. Thanks again to everyone for their help and encouragement all along this process. Cheers, Dan P.S. Thanksgiving is a U.S. Holiday commemorating the survival through the winter of the first Europeans to arrive in this country. It is usually celebrated by family get togethers, lot's of good food, and reflections on our life's blessings. It is one of the biggest, and happiest holidays in our country.
