Hi Dan, No need to apologize. Martin (mz) has been a great help, I hope he understands how grateful I am. I think age is catching up with my little grey cells - but documenting Boltwire will fix that :))
My two little sites are now running OK, to the extent that I need them to today, I have plans for both of them although that will require a good understanding of Boltwire. Yes, I got both Google Maps, and Password changing to work - although I am not yet at the stage of understanding why what I have works, and what I had didn't! I can do simple things with forms, but I think my difficulties come from fundamental misunderstandings, I get 'eureka' moments, like when I notice that things written [command xyz] had to be between the [form] [form], and that [if] also meant end-of-[if]. I guess I've been writing HTML too long :)) I've found a good technique is to look at the generated html. I am also sure that it is possible to build sites without knowing PHP, but that critically depends on the documentation not only being complete, but also being navigable. I'm sure some people have tried, but been frustrated by the difficulty of finding the material - the answer is there, but where? Navigation is tricky because different folks need different approaches. Thank you for the very helpful post here today, I will study it carefully. I am not going to give up on this, and I will eventually be able to help you with the documentation. I've added a couple of 'tested with 4.11' annotations and corrected a couple of typos so far.
