We don't have separate mailing lists for user questions and
developer discussion, so please do send questions to the list.
I'm not the only one who can answer, and other people may be
interested in both questions and responses.
You shouldn't even have to subscribe if you don't want to.
Just mention that you're not on the list and we'll CC you.

That's because when you play a video file, mplayer shows
the video in a new window. In that window, the mplayer
keybindings are active.
If you don't want mplayer to show the video, you can pass
the command-line option `-novideo'. Either have Bongo pass
the option by setting `bongo-mplayer-extra-arguments' to a
list containing "-novideo",
(setq bongo-mplayer-extra-arguments '("-novideo"))
or just add `novideo' to your `~/.mplayer/config'.

This is strange. Space bar should pause the media file
whether you're in Bongo or an mplayer window.
What if you play the file with mplayer from the
command line? Does space bar work then?
