Sounds good! So if we add the other topics suggested further in the thread (sorry, I replied to a previous message without having read everything), the complete outline becomes: * Overview ** Bongo buffers ** Tracks ** Backends * Inserting Tracks ** Inserting media files ** Inserting URIs ** Playing Audio CDs ** Action tracks * Playing Tracks ** Pausing ** Seeking ** Volume control ** Last.fm * Library Buffers * Saving & Loading * Advanced topics ** Bongo Internals ** Writing a new backend I think that having two separate manuals for users and developers is a mistake; our goal is to turn users into developers, so mixing development material in the manual is good (as long as it stays in separate sections, appropriately cross-referenced). Daniel, could you create a skeleton of this manual in Texinfo form in your darcs archive to create a common base? I'm volunteering for the ``Playing tracks'' sections, if nobody else wants it. _______________________________________________ bongo-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bongo-devel
