Here’s a quick rundown of the current situation as regards this task:
Daniel Jensen posted his new code and after some discussion on the mailing
list we agreed on some changes. I proposed a modified version which was
thought to be too uncustomizable. After some more discussion we came up with
a vague plan to improve the customizability. The task falls naturally on me
to adjust the code to meet that goal.
