(I really should setup an announce list ... :)
Today, Bongo has officially joined the Software Freedom Conservancy, run
by the Software Freedom Law Center:

This may be a bit of surprise even to those who followed the
conversation on these lists way back - it has taken a while to come
through, but it's now all done. I've written a bit more about this on my
blog, but basically, nothing about the project is going to change - it
just gives us a bit more legal standing, and opens up some options for
the future.
Pat and I are the Bongo representatives to the SFC, which means we
receive occasional mails from them, will occasionally update them on our
status, and "instruct" them (which, while we have no money in our
account right now, isn't something we'll really be doing!).
If anyone has any questions about this, I'm more than pleased to answer
them on or off list.
Cheers!
Alex.
