I'm smack dab in the middle of two at the moment. A friend (who knows my sense of humor) has been trying to get me to read Terry Pratchett for some time. Recently another bookcrosser sent me "Reaper Man" and it's been keeping me very entertained. Essentially a very funny "Death Takes a Holiday" sort of story set on Pratchett's fictional Discworld (a flat planet that drifts along on the back of a turtle or an elephant or some such thing).
And Elmore Leonard's "The Big Bounce," so recently turned into a movie. About halfway through this one as well, but it isn't nearly as entertaining. ed. ----- Original Message ----- From: ttbookjunkie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Tue, 14 Sep 2004 17:43:30 -0000 Subject: [BookCrossing] Sept 14 2004 what are you reading? To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] These are always fun in the forums at bookcrossing so I thought we would try it here... I am reading "In the wings" by carole corbeil. It is a Canadian novel about actors on the verge of their careers who fall in love but their loce is tested when they are both cast in Hamlet. As they struggle through love, a critic becomes obessed with a young actress. So far it is enjoyable.
