The "missing" release location and time info is a temporary
workaround; no data's lost, it just isn't being displayed at the
moment. There was a note about this in the latest newsletter, and the
info's also available on the "news" link under "home" on the
BookCrossing site:

Until the problem's fixed, I've been typing the release location into
the text - not the full address, but enough of the name to remind me
where it was.
