A while ago I sent a couple books to Europe as RABCKs. One went to Spain and one went to Bulgaria. I used the cheapest surface rate, and though they took a couple months or more to reach their destinations both have since been journaled.
When I mailed a book as part of a ring to Brazil, I sent it air mail so it would arrive more quickly.
