G'day

I'm in Australia - and find sending stuff overseas can sometimes be
daunting. While I haven't been with bookcrossing all that long - I have been
in International bookswops so have done my fair share of international
posting over the years. If it is a lightweight book it is sometimes very
little extra to post airmail from oz - but usually I mail surface - I always
e-mail the person I am sending the book to the method and the approximate
time frame.

So far in book crossing - I journal how I sent it - unless it is in Oz then
I just send surface as it suppose to only take 5-7 working days.

I think it would be polite to let people know how it is sent if you are part
of a ray or ring - that way if you are further down the list you know what
is happening.
