If the book is a standard paperback (not many are these days, but that's another topic), ask for a "Global Express" flat rate envelope. They go to most countries in about a week, and cost five dollars. There is a larger envelope (almost the size of the flat rate priority mail envelope) which costs nine dollars. You will need a customs form for either one. I have been able to fit two smallish paperbacks into one of the small envelopes. I would say 500-600 pages would easily fit.
