Re: The weirdest book on the banned list, in my opinion, is "Where's Waldo". That one took me a while to figure out, but eventually I remembered that there was a whole lot of nudity, especially if you look at the beach scenes. People are pretty uptight. ---- Reminds me of when my husband was an elementary school teacher. He ordered a book which had all sorts of diagrams of the insides of stuff, geared toward kids. Unfortunately there was one of the space shuttle with someone using the "facilities" & another of a ship with the same. He couldn't use it. Not particularly because he was afraid of backlash but because the kids would just get too giggly, etc.
