Secret Santas are something organised by one or more people on bookcrossing where you are given a name of another participant bookcrosser and you send them a Christmas gift of a book. Of course you receive a gift as well from a different person on the list. To work out what the person would like you do some research on their wish lists or reading habits/ratings. Secret Santa is not an official bookcrossing activity. Usually is announced by someone in about August/September in these yahoogroups and on bookcrossing in the forums. I saw the announcements in the Release challenges forum. Lots of good fun as you research your recipient and of course excitment when you get your gift and you don't know who sent it and what it is.
