I was looking in my Mom's e-mail, who still religiously used Hotmail (I dont understand people who would do that) and to compete with Yahoo, Hotmail is giving you 250 mbs of space now too. They still give you all the crap ads, junk mail, sell your address to spam people, etc - but they have a lot of space for the spam now :-P
And Yahoo now has a search client to search your e-mail. Its not as powerful as Google, but its close.
