I recall this topic coming up not too long ago. As has been mentioned, the
difficulties arise because this is an international group and when I'm going to
bed the chaps in the US are just getting home from work etc etc.

Timezones is a touchy subject that some folks got a bit peeved about last time.
My personal preference is GMT as it is the global standard. I live in Madrid
and therefore work on CET which is GMT +1. The problem with the US timezones,
is twice a year for one week the US goes out of sync with the rest of the
world. I don' know why this is but it always leads to odd problems trying to
organise teleconferences and the such.

In the end, I would promise to be in chat at a particular time so am quite
happy popping in ever now and then to take a chance. I think someone had the
good idea lasttime of, if you want to chat, pop in on the hour for about five
mintes or so, if someone else turns up then hooray. If not try again an hour
later. You can always be doing other stuff for these five minutes in another
browser window.

Just a thought.

It's sheep we're up against,
It's sheep we're up against,
It's sheep we're up against.
